OKD Doprava to buy Čechofracht Group

Čechofracht Group becomes part of corporate group OKD Doprava

The Čechofracht Group is about to change its ownership. Hattisburg Enterprises Ltd. from Cyprus sells 100 per cent of the shares of the leading international forwarding company in the Czech Republic to the corporate group OKD Doprava. The basis for this transaction is the approval by the competition authority, which is expected around mid-year.

OKD Doprava, a company of the New World Resources Group (NL), is the leading private provider of services in the field of rail logistics in the Czech Republic. After acquiring the rail company Viamont Cargo last year, the Czech enterprise recently finalised the acquisition of the Belarusian Belterminal-company that owns a rail freight terminal in Brest.

Čechofracht adds land transport, air/sea freight and contract logistics services to the portfolio. The new acquisition raises OKD Doprava’s annual turnover from EUR 120 million so far to EUR 250 million.
