OnAir helps attendees navigate ‚Aircraft interiors‘ show – and win an iPAD

OnAir has teamed up with Reed Exhibitions for the third year running to provide anyone attending Aircraft Interiors Expo with a mobile portal for the duration of the show. This year, for the first time, a competition – with the prize of an iPad – Is included. It is open to anyone who works for an airline.

The portal, available for any smartphone or tablet, provides the event’s daily schedule, an exhibitor search and a site plan plus other useful information. It also provides direct access to news and the show’s Twitter feed.

To win the iPad, Aircraft Interiors attendees need to take part in OnAir’s ‘infohunt’, collecting as much information as they can and networking with as many people as possible. The info-hunt will focus on Global Xpress, Inmarsat’s global Ka-band solution, which is due to be launched in 2014.

"We are using this portal to showcase OnAir’s ability to provide customer-specific portals," said Ian Dawkins, CEO of OnAir. "Our bespoke portals provide the contextual information to passengers on the move in the most appropriate way. This is our core business: providing worldwide connectivity inflight while ensuring that our solutions are both simple and useful for passengers."

Dawkins continued, "We are also offering airline delegates the opportunity to register to win the new iPad, which I’m sure will encourage the use of the Aircraft Interiors portal."
Aircraft Interiors attendees can simply connect to the portal using their smartphones and tablets, or by going to www.aixnow.com.

OnAir’s stand – 6G35 – is in the Inflight Entertainment Zone in Hall B6, where the company’s full inflight connectivity offering will be on display.
