Pall-Ex upgrades forklift truck fleet

Pall-Ex has invested £250,000 into its fleet of forklift trucks to include 45 new liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) vehicles.

Pall-Ex_FLT_1The Hyster H2.0FT Advance trucks were supplied by Briggs Equipment. The trucks include telematics which record impacts and usage levels.

“This forklift truck investment has benefitted the business at all levels. Operationally, we’ve reduced overheads by choosing economical vehicles with a simple fuel system,” said Richard Southern, general hub manager, Pall-Ex. “We’re seeing better accuracy and in turn, increased customer and staff satisfaction, as well as safer working practices.”
