Palletways names UK MD
Luis Zubialde has been appointed UK managing director at the Palletways Group, to support the company’s current senior management team in the UK.
Zubialde joins UK chairman Julian Maturi and managing director of Palletways UK Member Network, Martyn Young, in his newly created role at the company, which is celebrating 20 years of business.
Group chief executive, James Wilson, said: „This appointment supports our strategic objective to be the European Pallet Network of natural choice for the distribution of palletised express freight.“
Zubialde has spent the last seven years as head of Palletways Iberia, during which he was responsible for turning a start-up operation into an established network with 59 members and two hub operations in Madrid and Zaragoza.
He will take up his new position in the UK once a new managing director of Palletways Iberia has been named.
