Panalpina Austria on the lookout for new headquarter
The Austrian subsidiary of the Panalpina Group follows a sustainable and long-term strategy keeping all branch offices operative
Panalpina Welttransport GmbH is looking for a new company headquarters. As the present headquarters in Vienna, which houses the Austrian subsidiary of the globally active transport and logistics company, does not seem to be a place suitable for shining talents with regard to location, the recently appointed country manager Michael Schnitzler is on the lookout for a more appropriate Austria location.
„We will replace the presently used property in Richard Strauss Straße in Vienna Inzersdorf with a new, more centrally located property which will be more attractive for our employees, until the end of the year. This could be accompanied by a physical separation between the staff functions, respectively Air & Ocean and the operative procedures in the areas handling, warehousing and distribution”, explains Michael Schnitzler in an interview with the Österreichische Verkehrszeitung.
This ties in which the comment „that we are aiming at a sustainable und long-term strategy in the core business areas air- and seafreight in Austria“. The locations in Vienna, Linz, Werndorf near Graz, Innsbruck and Höchst will remain operative to guarantee high standards in customer care in future, as the company announces.
