Peters & May enters partnership agreement in Russia

Marine logistics specialist Peters & May has entered a new partnership agreement with the appointment of Logistics Department BG as its exclusive agent for Russia.

Moscow-based Logistics Department has a strong presence in the Russian leisure boating industry, and already handles the logistics for AG Marine along with a number of other boat dealers across Russia. The company runs its own fleet of trucks and has its own crane facilities located in major Moscow marinas.

According to Angus Bruce Jones, managing director of Peters & May, the company already has a long-standing relationship with Logistics Department’s parent company, the Burevestnik Group, having worked closely with the company for the past ten years.

"With the formal arrangement of a local agent, we will be able to develop our presence in this market and continue to enhance our global service," said Jones.

Logistics Department will collaborate with the existing global network of agents and Peters & May offices, which work closely to ensure a reliable service across the network. Together, the companies are able to offer a range of shipping options and complete transportation solutions to suit individual requirements.
