Port of Koper launches new service to Austria

Port of Koper: Block train “Capris Shuttle“ offers more rail service options from and to Austria

A new era begins for the hinterland traffic between the Slovenian seaport Koper and Austria. On 14 June the two combined tranport operators ICA Intercontainer Austria and Adria Kombi will launch a new block train rotation from Villach Süd CCT to Koper and return.

The service named “Capris Shuttle“ will be operated three times per week and direction in the initial stage. From Villach departures are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday and Friday. In the opposite direction the “Capris Shuttle“ will start its journey from Koper to Carinthia on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. From Villach antennae links for importations and exportations are available to Vienna (Freudenau port), port of Enns CCT, Linz city port CCT, Salzburg CCT and Wolfurt CCT.
