“Going east“-strategy pays for M&M Militzer & Münch also in the current fiscal year 2012

The transport and logistics group M&M Militzer & Münch with its headquarters in St. Gallen, Switzerland sees a continued positive development from the past years. Their operating companies in Russia and Byelorussia achieved good results in the year to date. As to the expansion of their market position, the development of sales revenues and capacities, the companies in the Mediterranean countries France, Morocco, Tunisia and Turkey as well as the Central Asian countries Turkmenistan and Tajikistan had great success, says Ewald Kaiser, CEO M&M Militzer & Münch International Holding AG.

M&M Militzer & Münch wants to become a leading service provider of integrated logistics solutions for Eurasia and North Africa. According to this guideline the enterprise added stations in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka to its location network in 2011/12. “This is where new locations of the globalised economy are developing rapidly. According to the market tendencies structures within the group are flexibly adjusted to these developments and competences are restructured“, informs Ewald Kaiser. He puts a special emphasis on continued quality management according to western standard and the use of local know how through local management staff. The novelties of 2012 are the competence centre CIS in Stockstadt, Germany and the program to promote talents.
