ProRail integrated in the Express-Interfracht forwarding company
Fusion of ProRail forwarding (Fürnitz) into the organisation of Express-Interfracht is now registered in the commercial register:
The time of legal autonomy of ProRail Internationale Speditionsgesellschaft m.b.H. is over. The rail forwarding company specialising on the transport of wood products to Italy, which was operating since 2001 as a 100% subsidiary of the Rail Cargo Austria group, is to be merged into the Express-Interfracht corporate group. The entry into the commercial register was made on 29 November 2011.
Streamlining of the holding portfolio is a part of the restructuring program of Rail Cargo Austria AG. Moreover basic structural changes will be implemented within the enterprise and its service portfolio. The aim of the management is to implement a transparent, sustainable portfolio, in order to be able to respond to customer demands and offer one-source services. The services previously offered by ProRail and Express-Interfracht will remain unchanged.
