RCA intensifies rail traffic with northern Adriatic region
Rail Cargo Group and north Italian terminal and port operator T.O. Delta to enhance their cooperation
The two enterprises Rail Cargo Group and T.O. Delta S.p.A. are enhancing their cooperation. As of July 1, 2013 RCA and the terminal and port operator in Trieste and Montfaclone will renew their cooperation contract started in early 2012 for two more years. “In the first line the cooperation applies for the train products from Trieste to Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and more European destinations“, says Fabrizio Zerbini, CEO T.O. Delta. Traction lies in the hands of the Rail Cargo Group.
Additional transport services shall be established in the coming years. In detail this means a triangle-project for transport services on the relation Trieste-Budapest-Bratislava-Trieste shall be implemented, as explains Erik Regter, CEO Rail Cargo Group. Also container relations between Trieste and Moscow, as well as Slovakia and southern Poland, are in the pipeline.
