RFX acquires Pioneer Transfer
RFX, Inc. has announced the acquisition of Pioneer Transfer, LLC. Pioneer Transfer is a third party freight brokerage company operating in the transportation, shipping and logistics services industry.
Headquartered in Sioux City, Iowa (US), the company provides services nationwide to customers and carriers.
RFX, Inc., established in 1987, is a privately held freight brokerage company headquartered in Avon, Massachusetts (US). Its asset based sister company, Refrigerated Food Express, was started in 1952.
"Pioneer Transfer and RFX share similar philosophies and the purchase of Pioneer will allow both companies to expand the current agent network and enter into new geographic territories," says RFX President Jim Morse.
