Rhenus completes CML deal

Rhenus Logistics has acquired warehousing, pre-retail, freight forwarding and distribution services provider Core Management Logistics as of January 3rd 2019.

Rhenus Warehousing Solutions Europe managing director Andreas Plikat said: “We view the acquisition of Core Management Logistics as an investment in our expansion strategy in Great Britain”. The new UK facility adds to Rhenus’ portfolio of logistics centres in Germany, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands and Poland.

Likewise, CML will “benefit from a strong global network offering our customers additional European operations and transport capabilities, as well as new opportunities for our employees,” said CML managing director Mark Webb.
