Rhenus group expands its activities in the Baltics
“For us, Lithuania is a tiger economy. The expansion of the Rhenus Group activities opens the way into international markets for the national economy and will strengthen the logistics location of Lithuania,” said Arūnas Bertašius, Managing Director of Rhenus Svoris, during the opening ceremony.
The logistics complex in Vilnius is one of the biggest sites of Rhenus Svoris in Lithuania. The warehouse at the logistics center covers more than 12,000 m². In addition, another 2,000 m² have been allocated for office premises, where the administration of Rhenus Svoris will be situated.
“We have felt the need for additional space for a long time. Capacities of the company’s warehouses located at different locations were moved into one modern and automated center. This will enable us to plan our activities more efficiently as well as to reduce management costs and implement our set strategic plans,” explained Arūnas Bertašius.
The Eastern European organization of the Rhenus Group offers national and international services in the across Europe, the Ukraine and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
