Rickmers-Linie appoints Gerleinco in Colombia
Hamburg-based breakbulk, heavy lift and project cargo specialist, Rickmers-Linie, has appointed Gerleinco in Bogota as agent for its activities in Colombia, effective immediately. According to Rickmers-Linie’s marketing & sales director, Gerhard Janssen, the nomination of a Colombian agent is a logical stop following the launch of the NCS service to the North Coast of South America in June last year. The monthly service is operated by four multipurpose vessels, with departures complementing Rickmers‘ Pearl String vessels that sail eastbound and primarily link Japan, China and Korea with the US Gulf on the transpacific leg of their fortnightly round-the world schedule.
