Rieck opens airfreight office in Munich

Berlin based Rieck Group expands air- and seafreight operations

Opening an office at the cargo-terminal of the Munich Airport, the Rieck Logistik Group added another location to the network for intercontinental air- and seafreight forwarding services. The new location is serving business partners from the south German key countries Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg as well as clients in Austria, northern Italy and the Czech Republic. Thomas Stopp (44), an experienced freight forwarder, is holding the leading position of the new division.

With the new location in the Bavarian capital the Berlin-based Rieck Logistik Group pursues its plan to further invest into the expansion of the Rieck Sea Air Cargo International (RSACI) division. Since 2006 airfreight offices in Berlin, Frankfurt am Main and now in Munich had been opened one after another. Moreover the enterprise operates a seafreight branch in Hamburg. “The new office at the Munich Airport is our response to the customer demand“, said Horst Stiegler, Managing Director of the Rieck Holding.
