Saudi Airlines Cargo launches new Indian freight service

Saudi Airlines Cargo to serve also Thiruvananthapuram with freighter flights and plans also to operate from New Delhi:

Saudi Airlines Cargo enhanced its freighter flight schedule. Besides covering Mumbai and Chennai, the international airline now calls also to the destination Thiruvananthapuram, deploying Boeing 747F and MD 11F aircraft. “Maindeck pallets may now be shipped twice weekly from the new destination to Europe, Africa, America and west Asia“, the airline announces in a press release. They also plan to operate freighter flights from New Delhi by the first quarter of 2012.

Saudi Airlines Cargo markets currently 12 freighters (Boeing 747F and MD11F), and utilizes the belly-capacity on 125 passenger aircraft. The freighters serve the following destinations in Europe: Brussels, Amsterdam and Milan-Malpensa. The freight offering ex Europe covers 28 flights per week with more than 3,000 tons capacity to Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam.
