Schenker Australia appointed official logistics provider for air show and regatta
Schenker Australia has been appointed as the official logistics provider for the Australian International Airshow and the Perth International Regatta 2010. Since 1992, Schenker Australia has been the official logistics provider and exclusive on-site handling agent for the Australian International Airshow, which takes place every two years. For the 2011 event, DB Schenker will provide a complete range of freight forwarding, transportation, logistics and customs handling services from within Australia and around the world for all exhibitors and participants. DB Schenker will provide logistics management for more than 100 tons of airfreight and dozens of ocean freight containers from international exhibitors, as well as many truck loads from Australian participants for the Exhibition Arena. The ISAF Sailing World Championships has appointed DB Schenker as official logistics provider for the Perth International Regatta 2010. This month, Schenker Australia’s Sports Events Team is moving approximately 350 boats and sailing equipment to Western Australia for the regatta. The partnership between DB Schenker and Perth’s sailing events extends far beyond this upcoming event. Schenker Australia is also the official logistics provider for the movement of all sailing equipment for the 2011 ISAF Sailing World Championships, which will be held on the same waters as Perth’s International Regatta.
