Schneckenreither forwarding receives TOP education certificate

OÖ Wirtschaftsbund honours the commitment of the Schneckenreither forwarding company (Ansfelden) in educating of apprentices with a certificate:

The Schneckenreither forwarding company has received the TOP training certificate from the Upper Austrian industrial association Oberösterreichischer Wirtschaftsbund a few days ago. The certificate is a public sign of thanks and appreciation of companies that have a function as a role model. The Schneckenreither enterprise based in Ansfelden near Linz is currently training 15 apprentices. Each year up to six new job beginners join the company.

“Upper Austria has Europe’s lowest ratio of youth unemployment with 4.8 per cent. Nonetheless education must be reinforced. Every second of currently about 23,000 unemployed persons in Upper Austria has no additional education, and thus less opportunities in the labour market“, explained Wirtschaftsbund Director Gottfried Kneifel on the occasion of the presentation of the TOP education certificate to KommR. Alfred Schneckenreither.

Schneckenreither is an owner-managed family enterprise that offers integrated logistics solutions (overland transport, parcel logistics, air/sea freight and warehousing logistics). Apart from the headquarters in Ansfelden the company’s network includes also own locations in Wiener Neudorf, St. Pölten, Klagenfurt, Graz, Salzburg, Budapest and Prague as well as sites in Linz, Wels and Marchtrenk. As a competence centre of forwarding services the enterprise is affiliated to a private company group with more than 400 employees at 16 locations in Central Europe. The fleet of the corporate group Schneckenreither consists of about 150 low-emission trucks and 100 swap bodies. The warehousing logistics division is based on more than 55,000 m² hall area.
