Seko opens eighth UK branch

Seko Logistics has opened an additional branch office in Felixstowe to support its freight forwarding logistics operations at the freight terminal.

The logistics provider now has eight branches across the UK, including a 152,000 sq ft facility at London Heathrow. Former Ceva employees David Hill and Jamie Harrold will operate the new office.

Keith O’Brien, managing director of SEKO Logistics, said: “Felixstowe is a strategically important location in the UK and we are confident that David and Jamie will quickly establish a strong presence for SEKO Logistics in the region. Our UK business grew by 28 per cent in 2014 thanks to the growth in our business services and branch network and we will continue to open new business units.”

Last year, Seko Logistics acquired an equity stake in full service ecommerce agency, Red Hot Penny. Other recently developed services developed include Seko Store Development Services, which delivers project and process management.
