Forwarder cargo-partner celebrates its 25th anniversary in Hungary

The cargo-partner branch in Hungary was opened in 1994 as one of the first companies abroad of the globally operating group. Since then, it has become a key pillar in the network of locations, with currently 140 employees in three offices.

At the end of 2019, cargo-partner will move into BUD Cargo City, a logistics center with more than 7,500 m² of warehouse space, an office mezzanine and a three-storey office building. The object offers ideal conditions for air freight forwarders. In addition, the company has a head office in Budapest and a warehouse in Gyál.

Moving to BUD Cargo City, the Hungarian subsidiary of cargo-partner is expanding its storage capacity to 1,200 m² and the office space to more than 400 m². The international freight forwarding company has been operating at Budapest Airport for a long time and is today considered as a leading logistics company in Hungary with an extensive service portfolio and a special focus on the areas of automotive, pharmaceuticals & healthcare, aircraft components, electronics and semiconductor technology.

Settling at the BUD Cargo City, cargo-partner also seizes the opportunity to offer its customers an even better, faster and thus more competitive service on a larger area than before. In addition to regular connections to and from the most important air freight hubs, cargo-partner also offers On Board Courier services, charter solutions, temperature-monitored transports as well as extensive expertise in the handling of special and dangerous goods transports.

With a storage capacity of currently 30,000 m², cargo-partner in Hungary recorded a successful 2018 financial year, handling 25,000 TEU of sea freight and 50,000 road transports. Against this background, Attila Becze, cargo-partner’s regional director for Hungary and Romania, will invite numerous customers and business partners to the anniversary celebration in autumn. Given the positive development in the past 25 years and the positive path towards the future, he is confidently looking forward to another 25 years of successful operations in Hungary.
