SETG puts 40 more freight wagons into service
Salzburger Eisenbahn Transportlogistik GmbH enlarges its wagon fleet for round timber transportations Salzburger Eisenbahn Transportlogistik GmbH (SETG) is about to enlarge its wagon fleet. In the coming weeks the enterprise will put 40 additional wagons for round timber transport on the railway into service. As a reason for this step Managing Director Gunther Pitterka names the increasing demand of German and Austrian forestry product industries for round timber from producers in Poland and Ukraine. According to him the company’s own wagon fleet counts currently about 200 units. The name SETG stands for a provider of high-quality services in rail freight transport. The private enterprise headquartered in Salzburg develops and implements customised transport solutions for its customers in the form of block trains, wagons groups and single wagons. Last year they forwarded more than 2 milllion tons of goods. More than 60 per cent thereof were handled for customers from the wood, paper and cellulose industry. Quelle: LogEastics |
