Following a short break with an East European niche operator, Eurogate, he re-joined Agility in April 2009 in his recent position.Prior to that, he has also worked for Pakhoed, Schenker/Karl Biermann Lisbon, Frans Maas and Ziegler.

Sjaak’s extensive knowledge of the road freight business in Europe is specially relevant to the Portuguese market, where a significant volume of trade moves by road. In Portugal, Agility is the former Lassen, which has been acquired by Agility in 2005 and subsequently integrated into the global Agility network under the Agility brand.
