Smart supply chain director at JLL EMEA industrial and logistics

JLL has appointed Ashley Smart, formerly senior director, global sector development at DHL as supply chain director in its EMEA industrial and logistics business.

Based in London, Smart will work as part of the wider team that is spread across Germany, France and The Netherlands to develop JLL’s supply chain business in the UK and across EMEA.

Guy Gueirard, head of industrial and logistics, EMEA, said: “With the rise in e-commerce and the ongoing changes in consumer behaviour businesses are finding that today’s supply chain is very different to that of a pre-digital age – they need to adapt and evolve, and generally be much more flexible.
