Spec warehouse for Chorley

A new speculative warehouse is to be built at Evander Properties’ Revolution Park development near Chorley in the North West.

The 183,000 sq ft facility will be funded by British Airways Pension Fund. The development, which benefits from a detailed planning consent, will commence in January 2015 and will be the first big shed to start on site speculatively in the North West since 2007.

The site is the last available big shed plot on the fully occupied Revolution Park development situated at Buckshaw Village, Chorley, where neighbouring occupiers include Parcelforce, Kimberley Clarke, Wolseley and Multipart.

Revolution Park is located between Junction 8 of the M61 and Junction 28 of the M6, ideally situated for national and international logistics operations.

The unit will comprise of 171,417 sq ft of warehousing space with 12,500 sq ft office space over 2 storeys. It will feature 12m to underside, 31 dock levellers, 2 level access doors, 142 car and 47 trailer parking spaces.
