St. Modwen invests an additional £20m in Birmingham development

The 155,000ft2 ‘sustainable’ warehouse targets operational ‘net zero carbon’ office space.

St. Modwen Logistics has boosted the regeneration of Longbridge with a further £20m investment to build the 155,000ft2 warehouse which could create more than 300 jobs.

The development is located at The Cofton Centre and is set to be completed in October 2022.

The development demonstrates a significant investment in sustainability and delivers a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating, targets an EPC A+ rating, and is expected to achieve an overall carbon reduction of 53% compared with energy requirements set out in the UK Building Regulations.
