Supply chain and procurement jobs up 13pc

Supply chain and procurement jobs are up 13 per cent in the UK year on year, according to the latest Robert Walters UK Jobs Index.

Mid-level professionals were the most highly sought after, with IT procurement specialists in highest demand.

“Businesses are aware of the significant impact poor supply chain strategies can have on the bottom line and as a result, securing top calibre procurement and supply chain specialists is a high priority,” said Neil Morgan, associate director, Robert Walters. “In particular, as businesses prepare to adapt to new conditions following Brexit, supply chain and procurement professionals with an international background are highly sought after.”
