Introduction of track & trace safety solution “b.Alert connect” for truck trailers, machines and containers in Austria
The Belgian telematics and safety specialist Kassandra is introducing its intelligent safety solution “b.Alert“ in the Austrian market. According to the company the product is a cost-effective track & trace system for vehicles, truck trailers, machines and containers. On its German internet-based platform “b.Alert“ provides information about the current location of property, and can give alert in case of burglary or theft.
“So far the main markets for b.Alert are Benelux and France“, says Michael Pokrandt, in charge of sales and establishment of a trade network in the German-speaking regions. We are looking for a distribution partner in Austria, so we can enter the German-speaking market. We will support our future partner with interesting margins, marketing and PR actions.“
The b.Alert Connect System is available in retail sale for EUR 299. Monthly price for data transmission throughout Europe via the GSM mobile network is EUR 5. Every 15 minutes information about the current location is delivered. Alerts are delivered immediately. The price can be reduced for containers or other goods worthy of protection. If e.g. four information messages per day are sufficient, the monthly rate is EUR 2.
