Lagermax AED takes another step towards area-covering presence in Romania

The network of Lagermax AED Romania SRL has got a new station. In Satu Mare at the Hungaro-Romanian border the third location was opened, in addition to Arad and Bucharest. The new station serves the urban centres in the north-west of the country. Apart from national tasks they attend to international business activities.

“In the system network of the Lagermax Group (Salzburg) the new location has the role of a logistics platform for all transportations towards Ukraine and further eastbound. These relations will gain importance for our international transportations“, Herbert Weber, Managing Director of Lagermax Internationale Spedition, gives an outlook. In this context the area-covering development of Romania is of utmost priority to the freight forwarder.

Lagermax Group provides a varied program of transport and logistics services at 36 locations in eleven European countries (Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia and Macedonia). The annual turnover 2008 amounted to EUR 321 million. The staff is indicated with 2,350 employees for 2009.
