THY sets course for Guangzhou, Schiraz and Los Angeles

Turkish Airlines adds eleven new destinations in Asia, Europe and North America to its route network in 2011

 

The year 2011 stands in the sign of a massive route expansion at Turkish Airlines (THY). Adding eleven new destinations to the flight schedule the enterprise underlines its position of the fastest-growing airline in Europe.

THY will begin to operate three weekly flights from the Istanbul hub to the southern Chinese metropolis Guangzhou on 30 January 2011. From 3 March 2011 four weekly flights to Los Angeles – the first destination at the US West Coast – will be available. Four weekly flights to Shiraz (in the Iran province Fars) will be available from 14 March 2011.

Moreover Turkish Airlines is planning to start new flights from Istanbul to the Italian destinations Genoa, Naples and Turin, to Malaga and Valencia in Spain; to the Greek metropolis Salonika, and to the Philippine capital Manila and returns in the year 2011. A fleet of currently 153 aircrafts is currently approaching 169 destinations in 83 countries.
