To 30 June: Toll exemption for humanitarian transports in Austria

Applications must be made before departure: to grant a toll exemption for transporting humanitarian aid to South-East Europe after the flood disaster

Aid transport by cars, trucks and buses to the crisis area in South-East Europe are granted a toll exemption on the entire primary road network in Austria effective now. The toll exemption is temporary and is valid until the end of June 2014. Applications for toll exemption must be made previous to departure. “Human tragedies require unbureaucratic help: Humanitarian aid transports to the areas affected by the flood in South-East Europe will be exempted from toll, presumably to the end of June. This had been concluded in coordination with the ministries of transport and finance“, said the Alois Schedl and Klaus Schierhackl, CEOs at ASFINAG.
