Toll Global Forwarding appoints new MD in Germany

Toll Global Forwarding has appointed Siegfried Nottelmann as Managing Director, Germany.

Nottelmann joined Toll in August, when his company Andree & Wilkerling was acquired by the group as part of its ongoing European expansion. He had been Andree & Wilkerling’s MD since 2005. In his new role, he will manage the combined businesses comprising offices in Hamburg, Hannover, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf and Stuttgart, and a total workforce of approximately 100.

The acquisition of Andree & Wilkerling has brought new diversification to Toll’s German business, adding specialisations in shipping for the steel and chemicals sectors, and project forwarding.

Toll Global Forwarding Regional MD EME, Hakan Bicil said: "Germany is a strong economy, and still a major industrial powerhouse. The latest developments in Toll’s German operations position us very well to gain market share in both exports and imports. We are delighted that somebody with Siegfried’s considerable experience is heading up our business there."
