UK Mail appoints new VP operations

UK Mail has appointed Scott Laird as vice president of operations.

Laird will be responsible for all aspects of operations including health and safety and security, as well as network development. This also includes the expansion of UK Mail’s processing and delivery capabilities. He also joins the UK Mail executive board.

The company has also appointed Martin Rantle as vice president of sales, and Ros Hunt has been promoted to vice president of marketing.

“Following the acquisition by Deutsche Post DHL Group, the business has seen significant growth and we have even more ambitious targets for the years ahead,” said Peter Fuller, UK Mail CEO. “The new management structure and the promotion of my experienced colleagues will ensure we’re in a strong position to capitalise on new opportunities and growth in the market.”
