ULD specialist Jettainer celebrates double anniversary
Jettainer, the leading international service partner for outsourced loading equipment management (ULD), is sending a special specimen around the world on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the airfreight container. The journey of the ULD in the birthday design starts on March 7 in Frankfurt and first leads to Singapore, where the IATA World Cargo Symposium takes place next week. There the celebrations of Jettainer are continued and at the same time a second anniversary is celebrated – the 15th company birthday.
Jettainer covers the entire value chain of ULD management – from purchasing to control and management and repair of the loading equipment to the provision of customized IT solutions and financing concepts. The ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certified company completes its service package with JettLease, a leasing product for ULD emergencies.
As a wholly owned subsidiary of Lufthansa Cargo AG, Jettainer is currently responsible for the complete loading equipment management, including the control, positioning, maintenance and servicing of some 90,000 units, so-called Unit Load Devices (ULDs), for 21 airlines. Currently, the company operates at over 450 airports worldwide
