UPS names new UK chief

UPS has chosen Luis Arriaga to take over as UK, Ireland and Nordics district manager from George Willis who has been promoted to west region president for UPS in the US.

UPS Natural Gas Vehiclehigh Arriaga takes on the role having previously headed up UPS operations in West Europe. He will be responsible for operations, business development and strategy, with responsibility for more than 9,000 employees.

Willis had operated as UK, Ireland and Nordics district manager for two years. And his departure was itself the result of current west region president Jerry Mattes taking over as UPS operations Manager.
