VCK acquires 50% stake in Compass Holding
Netherlands-based VCK Holding has acquired a 50% stake in Düsseldorf, Germany-based Compass Holding. This strategic cooperation with Compass fits perfectly into VCK’s plans to build an international all-in-logistics network, particularly in Europe’s hi-tech industry. Compass Holding has subsidiaries in France and Switzerland, and provides storage, handling and distribution services to the hi-tech industry. VCK’s services include technical service centre activities, warehousing (TAPA), pick & pack, distribution, transportation, import / export and fiscal administration. All logistic processes and milestones can be monitored in real-time via VCK’s web-based All-in Control IT system, which enables customers to check on order progress, international stocks, serial numbers or any other detailed order data.
