Walker Logistics announces 317% Q4 throughput jump

Walker Logistics has said that it experienced a 317% increase year-on-year, in the number of e-commerce orders picked and dispatched.

The company has said that the significant rise is due to the number of orders placed, as the pandemic has led to a surge in online shopping.

Charlie Walker, Head of Marketing at Walker Logistics said: “Of course, our existing client companies all experienced strong demand for their products from internet shoppers during the latest lockdown, but we have also taken on some significant new contracts across a number of sectors that have had an impact on our Q4 figures.”

The company reports that it achieved typical picking accuracy of 99.98 per cent.
