Wan Hai Lines and PIL resume Europe service

Restaging of Far East – Europe service by Wan Hai Lines and Pacific International Lines

The container shipping companies Wan Hai Lines (Taiwan) and PIL Pacific International Lines (Singapore) are preparing the restaging of the regular service from the Far East to Europe and back, which had been ceased in December 2008 due to the global financial and economic crisis. The first departure from Asia is scheduled to commence on 13 March. The service will be operated in a weekly interval.

Wan Hai Lines and PIL Pacific International Lines will use eight ships with a capacity of 4,250 TEU for the service. The rotation starts in Shanghai and includes calls at the following ports: Ningbo, Hong Kong, Shekou, Nansha, Port Kelang, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Port Kelang, Singapore, Shekou and Shanghai.
