Warehousing win for Norbert
Sabic Petrochemicals has awarded a five year contract extension to Norbert Dentressangle, to provide a maintenance, repair and operational engineering spares warehousing and stores service.
In the additional contract, a dedicated 18,500 sq ft store facility is being provided at the site, which will feature new racking, a mezzanine floor and conveyor system.
This will incorporate racked pallet locations, a lay down area for heavy goods and 6,000 bin locations for smaller items.
The two companies have worked together for 15-years, with Norbert Dentressangle Tankers providing warehousing, packing, repacking and transportation services at its Wilton International site, near Redcar.
Nick Gilpin, warehouse and stores specialist at SABIC said: “We look forward to working with Norbert Dentressangle to create a first class Engineering Spares Warehousing and Stores service to support our Teesside operations.”
