Weiss Röhlig launches new Taiwan – Czech Republic consolidation service

Weiss Röhlig has launched a new weekly consolidation service between Taiwan and Prague in the Czech Republic.
 

According to Holger Stoelker, managing director at Weiss Röhlig, Taiwan, the company has scheduled trucking and rail services from all major European ports into Eastern Europe supported on the ground through its network of offices in Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria and Ukraine.

Weiss-Röhlig is a joint venture between the Austria-based Gebrüder Weiss and Germany-based Röhlig.

The Gebrüder Weiss branch in Taipei was established in 2007. Taiwan complements the Far East locations within the Hong Kong and China triangle and is an important hub in Asia. Its main areas of business are air and sea freight as well as developing tailor-made transport and logistics solutions. Other services include project logistics and customs clearance.

The Gebrüder Weiss network includes branches, factories and sites in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Ukraine, the UAE, India, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, the US and Canada.

Bremen-based Röhlig has subsidiaries in Europe, Africa, the US the Asia-Pacific region.
