Wolfram Senger-Weiss is the new CEO of Gebrüder Weiss

Wolfram Senger Weiss, MBA took over the role as CEO of Gebrüder Weiss on 1 January 2019, and will be responsible for land transport. In this position, he succeeds Wolfgang Niessner, MBA, who had been heading the international logistics group since 2005 and retired on 31 December 2018.

Wolfram Senger-Weiss started his professional career after studying at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration as an assistant to the Executive Board of Berndorf AG and managing a start-up in the U.S. At INSEAD, he completed a post-graduate education with an MBA before taking over the Corporate Controlling department at Gebrüder Weiss in 2003. In 2005, he moved to the Executive Board, where he was responsible for the Finance, Legal, Real Estate and M&A departments. From 2012 to 2018 he was President of the Central Association Forwarding & Logistics.

Jürgen Bauer, MBA has been a member of the Gebrüder Weiss Management Board since 1 January 2019, responsible for the European road haulage and HSEQ and purchasing business units. Further members of the Executive Board are: Heinz Senger-Weiss for Air & Sea, Sales and Customs and Peter Kloiber for parcel services (GWP, DPD Austria, primetime, Fashionet), Logistics Development, New Business (x|vise, dicall), IT Services, personnel development as well as marketing and communication.
