Yusen Logistics expands UK domestic appliance network
Yusen is expanding its specialist domestic appliance network adding a further cross-dock into the operation using its Derby automotive site.
Commercial director Nick Rees said: “We’ve established this new cross dock location so we can increase delivery frequency in the major metropolitan areas to help our retail customers grow their sales.”
The operation serves independent retailers. Yusen reckons it now carries about 25 per cent of the UK’s white goods.
It now operates seven strategic platforms, with flows managed from a central control tower.
