ZIM is improving its Asia Europe Express Service
ZIM’s AEX1 service: Additional key ports in Asia and further eastbound call at Shanghai provides new direct connections at best-in-market transit times
ZIM International Shipping Lines (Israel) announces that its premium Asia Europe service, AEX1, has been enhanced with immediate effect. It will now offer significantly extended port coverage as follows: Dalian (Northeast China), Qingdao (Eastern China), Shanghai (W), Ningbo (Eastern China), Yantian (Southeastern China), Port Klang (Malaysia), Felixstowe (GB), Hamburg, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Nansha (Southern China), Shanghai (E), Dalian.
The addition of the Asian key ports in Dalian, Qingdao, and Port Klang and as well as an additional eastbound call at Shanghai, provides new direct connections at best-in-market transit times, the company announces.
The new rotation connects all major Chinese markets, South East Asia, and the four major North European ports. ZIM will deploy three 10,000 TEU vessels out of 10 in this joint service with CSCL.
