1,000 new mega trailers for Ewals Cargo Care
Transport logistics group Ewals Cargo Care modernises and expands its mega trailer-fleet Ewals Cargo Care attracts interest with a major investment. The Dutch transport logistics group has placed an order for 1,000 new mega trailers at the vehicle manufacturers Krone and LAG Trailers. The vehicles meet the latest load safety standards according to EN 12642XL. The new trailers will be used as replacement material, but also serve as an extension of the existing mega trailers-fleet. Ewals Cargo Care with its headquarters in Tegelen in the Netherlands provides services in the fields of transport, storage/value added services and supply chain management. Established in 1906, the enterprise operates 49 locations in 15 countries (including Germany, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Poland, Lithuania and Russia) with 300,000 sq. m. warehousing area. Their 1,600 employees generated a turnover of EUR 395 million in 2009.
