125 years of Wildenhofer corporate group

Wildenhofer corporate group from Salzburg has been working for 125 years on behalf of the shipping industry
 
The Wildenhofer corporate group is celebrating its 125-years jubilee these days. Since its establishment as a warehouse at the Salzburg cargo railway station in 1887, the company is by its own definition “the leading international forwarding company of the Mozart city“. Against the background of an chequered history, the house of Wildenhofer has evolved into a European enterprise entertaining worldwide relations and activities. Five generations of the Mayer-Wildenhofer family have been shaping the history.
 
In a short memorandum Andreas Mayer-Wildenhofer attributes the rise of the family company to the clients’ trust and the support from the loyal, capable and competent staff. Flexibility in daily business and continuous innovations ensure the company’s continued existence, as he states. In the 2011 financial year the Wildenhofer corporate group was employing about 260 persons and generated turnover at EUR 108 million.
