20 years of Logex in Linz-Wegscheid
Logex offers solutions for rapid parcel and general cargo shipping Fiederhell Logistik Express GmbH is looking back on 20 years of transport logistic activities. The enterprise based in Linz-Wegscheid provides solutions for rapid shipping of documents, parcels and general cargo consignments under the brand name Logex. After an initial focus was set on service concepts for Upper Austria, they expanded their operating range through partnerships with DPD Austria, GLS, FedEx Express and DB Schenker to Austria, Germany and overseas growth markets. In addition to the express traffic the company offers a special mechanical cleaning service for reusable transport containers called Clean System Service. Logex has its roots in distribution of books and press material in Upper Austria. In the course of time they enlarged their product portfolio to bank receipts, photos, pharmaceutical products and urgent spare parts. Managing Director Georg Fiederhell considers the daytime express service in Upper Austria as their speciality. Logex operates two halls with about 2,800 sq.m. in Linz-Wegscheid. Their own fleet consists of 10 vehicles plus around 100 units made available by sub freighters. With 15 employees they generated a turnover of EUR 3.5 million in 2009. Quelle: LogEastics |
