20 years of Militzer & Münch in Bulgaria

M&M Militzer & Münch BG Co. Ltd. (Sofia) counts among the leading providers of transport and logistics services in Bulgaria:

The international transport logistics provider Militzer & Münch celebrates the 20th jubilee of its country organisation in Sofia in October. Two decades ago, M&M Militzer & Münch BG Co. Ltd. was Bulgaria’s first western logistics provider and has become one of the key players in the country’s transport logistics market. The company was founded in Sofia on 4 October 1991.

M&M Militzer & Münch is serving Bulgaria’s market from nine branches – including a modern logistics centre. “We offer all services in the five business sections of Militzer & Münch – Road, Rail, Sea, Air and Projects”, says Sacho Todorov, CEO of M&M Militzer & Münch BG Co. Ltd. and Regional Managing Director for the South-East European Region. Their customers include large international industry and trade companies like GlaxoSmithKline or Hermes Otto International as well as medium-sized companies. During the business year 2010, a staff of 186 employees generated a turnover of approximately 40 million Euro for Militzer & Münch Bulgaria.

“Bulgaria is the European gateway to the Middle East and simultaneously a transport hub for the whole Balkan region”, says Ewald Kaiser, CEO of Militzer & Münch International Holding AG. The Bulgarian country organization was making use of this in the most optimal way. Militzer & Münch will continue to increase its business in the Balkans in the future.
