Lagermax is awarded as best training company in Salzburg

In the frame of the "best of … Wirtschaftskammer-Bildung 2011" event, the Lagermax group was honoured as an outstanding training company in the transport and trade segment by the economic chamber Salzburg last week. The award confirms the family-managed transport and logistics enterprise with headquarters in Salzburg supports apprentices at an above-average level.
Lagermax educates about 35 young people per year as forwarding merchant, forwarding logistician, chassis building technician, plumbers or office clerk. The apprentices change department every six months. So they can get to know the various tasks of an internationally acting transport and logistics enterprise, such as air/ocean freight, logistics, customs or parcel services and can find out which professional profile suits them best.
The Lagermax group has about 2,250 employees at its own 47 locations in Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia and Macedonia. Total turnover amounted to EUR 273.5 million in 2010.
