New services of Chipolbrok and Flinter ex Antwerp

Port of Antwerp consolidates its position as a gateway for break bulk and conventional sea freight

These days new liner services for the shipping of break bulk and conventional freight are to start their maiden journeys from Port of Antwerp. They are operated by the shipping companies Chipolbrok (Poland/China) and Flinter. Both companies are regular customers in the Belgian seaport.

Chipolbrok launches a break bulk-liner service with departures in a monthly rhythm to New Orleans and Houston. The route is operated with a vessel of 22,000 dwt capacity. The Dutch company Flinter adds a break bulk service to Misurata and El Khoms in Libya to its offer. In the initial stage one departure will be available per month. The medium term target of the management is to step up the schedule to two rotations per month.
