Enhanced Italy-program with Rail Cargo Austria

Rail Cargo Austria’s “Italy-shuttles“ to serve seven distribution platforms in important economic regions from Austria with immediate effect:

Rail Cargo Austria has expanded its offering of quality trains to Italy. “More distribution platforms in important economic regions were added to the modified service concept“, the enterprise announces in a press release. Customers shall be able to profit from shorter transport times, door-to-door solutions and options for return loads. Consolidation of goods from single wagon traffic to block trains is carried out – as before – at the cargo railway station Villach-Süd.

The improved direct train scheme including distribution to the end customer comprises six shuttles. The “Friuli Shutte“ is operated three times per day (excluding Sundays) to Osoppo and Udine. The “Veneto Shuttle“ serves the route to Padova four times per week, while “Santo Stino Shuttle“ calls the stations Santo Stino and Desio daily. The “Emilia Romagna Shuttle“ provides several connections to Lugo Terminal per week. The “Adriatic Shuttle“ offers several direct services to Pescara per week and the “Tirrenica Shuttle“ is operated on the route to Maddaloni Marcianise several times per week as well.
