Itella wins new logistics order for the CIS
Itella Logistics announced the acquisition of another large-scale contract. Established in building and home improvement trade products, the Rautakesko Group expands its cooperation with the logistics service provider that has been focussed on the Finish market so far, to Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Russia. The tasks cover the fields warehousing, terminal operations and distribution of the complete stock. Itella Logistics is to take over the storage location in Langhus, Norway, and 20 employees from Rautakesko. Storage logistics in Sweden is to be relocated to the warehouse in Boras. Rautakesko operates about 320 stores in Scandinavia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and Russia, which are acting under the brand names K-rauka, Rautia, Byggmaker and Senukai.
